Terribly embarrassed

I let my better judgment go and did the unthinkable, I transferred my tickets to someone from Kijiji without payment first.
Yes, I’m well aware it was a dumb*ss thing to do.
Yes, I’m beating myself up.
My question is, what now? Can the sales office track them? Can the perpetrator be tracked? Should I file a police report?
I feel like such a sucker....

I’m going to be on the phone at 9am to request they be blocked. I tried posting about the scam on Kijiji but it’s “delayed” whatever that means.

Call ahead and have those seats be flagged. Do you have original proof of purchase?

Yes, if you print new tickets, then the ones you transferred should be invalid.

Unfortunately, the scammer will probably print the ones you transferred and sell the printed tickets to some unsuspecting victim, who will show up at the Dome, only to be denied entry. I saw that happen to someone at the Iggy game, they had printed tickets and were told at the door that they were invalid. That's why I only buy tickets that can be electronically transferred to my account.

I actually was a victim on the other side - I sent some Kijiji seller money but never got a ticket email. It's not a lot of money but it still pisses me off....

Actually, just trying to sell them period! Tried selling through ticketmaster several times this season with no luck (seats went empty) thought I’d try Kijiji this time. I only lurk here and haven’t posted, so don’t think I’m qualified to sell here, or I would have. As a side note, it’s been a brutal year to sell or even give them to friends, family, colleagues and customers!

In the past, I have had the Flames cancel a transferred ticket for me. They can 'reset' it so to speak. It will make his tickets invalid, and they wont scan for entry.

Unfortunately, he probably made a bunch of print outs to sell. I guess all you can do is post that "these tickets are not valid", and maybe report the user to Kijiji so he cannot post new ads.

I’m going to Calgary in a couple of weeks and am hoping to get tickets for the playoffs. I want my son to experience a playoff game.

I’m wary now of using kijiji.

I tried using it last year for the final game against Vegas and it was such a pain I ended up buying off that guy outside the c-train station.

I hope you manage to resolve this.

Don't buy from that guy outside the C-Train station. As far as you know, he is selling Barnet's tickets, and if Barnet gets them cancelled, then you may not even get valid tickets. Buy on CP if you can, otherwise TikTiks or FansFirst.
