Also spoke with a Fanattic rep who didn't think it was happening at first but "maybe if the Flames go deep in the playoffs"

I am on the obvious bandwagon of full time retros.
Contrarian view is that I really like black jerseys in general, and would love to see a new 3rd that’s black. There would be some interesting designs with red/yellow that would ‘pop’ on the black.

This makes sense. Even though it’s red and gold, the logo is “bloated” and does not match. Couldn’t figure out why but this is likely that reason.

After '06 I swore to only put them on if the Flames got past the first round. Needless to say for being 13 years old they're in really good shape

Personally I always wait until the regular season is over. Mine will be up after the game against Edmonton. I think playoffs season only is the way to go.

Question for the experts here- sorry didn’t want to start a new thread for this.
I have a buddy trying to book a flight here for the flames second game of the playoffs. It appears the roughnecks have a game at the Dome that Saturday the 13th. What are the chances that game is moved to accommodate a flames game? Or will the second home game for us likely be on Friday ?

Flames will start on the 10th with game 2 on the 12th.
Not officially announced yet, but the guys on 960 had mentioned this in the afternoon a few days ago

They will probably play the Wed/Fri games then. Cant see any scenario where they change an existing event that tix have been sold for and accomodations booked etc on the Saturday,

Last night Steinberg and Loubardias were both saying the latest they had heard was the Flames will likely start on the 11th and 13th.

They mentioned it on the postgame. They stated the flames may having to reschedule a roughnecks game but the feeling was Toronto and Calgary on the Thurs-Sat
