Is that hate speech I detect towards Don Cherry?

Isn't his suggestion of not celebrating in an over-the-top fashion a message promoting respect, and the opposite of bigotry?

Asking for a friend.

Speaking of Jerks...Carolina crushed Minnesota 5-1. For the surge they brought out a basketball net in an ode to March madness and had TVR go in for the dunk. They will be the team I pull for in the east.

CBC/SN really trying to hype up the Canucks for this game. "Coming up, we have the Flames visiting Vancouver. Canucks have 3 straight wins!"

Honestly, could be 4 in a row. Flames are definitely in that mode to take their foot off the pedal a little bit and the Canucks are keen on playing spoiler.

Go Flames! But I have zero expectations tonight.

St. Louis is going to be scary in the playoffs, hopefully they aren't a wildcard team and cause havoc for the Central teams.

I wouldn't be surprised to see them close the distance on Nashville given the good stretch of scoring and good goaltending they've seen. Seems more likely than letting Dallas overtake them for the 3rd Central spot.

The Penguins take the lead 3-2 over the Stars in the third period.

The Hurricanes go wild on Minnesota, 5-1 final score. Good news for western teams. The Habs win 7-4 so double bad news for the BJs.

The Penguins do hang on for the regulation win. The Stars could fall out of a playoff spot.

The Red Wings have a 1-0 lead after twenty minutes in Las Vegas.

The Knights came back to tie it up at 1-1 in the second period. That is the score heading into the third period.

The western conference playoff race is ridiculous right now.
Every team is playing .500 hockey. No telling who the Flames will face in the first round.
A few days ago it looked like Minnesota, now they are dead in the water.
Last week Arizona, now Colorado.
Dallas? Anyone else? Oilers still alive?

How about Jared Mccaan scoring two goals for the Pens tonight. The 2nd being assisted by Gudbranson. The Canucks traded Mccaan for Gudbranson and all they have to show for it is Tanner Paerson. How Jim Benning still has a job is mind blowing.

They're a fun team to watch too, and I'll enjoy cheering for Ferland
