MGMT sucks. They suck live. Congratulations sucked. Their new single sucks and I fully anticipate the new album to suck.

Great track, horrible music video. I get that they are all artistic and such, but that was dumb.

Cover Story: With their third album, MGMT continue to chase their psych-rock whims while falling into a musical abyss that's as goofy as it is dark. But will their legion of neon-clad followers come along for the ride? By Larry Fitzmaurice; photos by Sandy Kim.

chromeo and Arcade Fire sound really good!
Arcade Fire sounding more upbeat and disco can't be a bad thing.

Not too sure how I feel about the arcade fire track yet. Hoping it'll grow on me as Month of May did.

Kings of Leon : Mechanical Bull is streaming on iTunes right now. The first half of the album is not great but it gets better for the second half. Could end up being a vulture album on iTunes where you just pick a few songs and leave the rest to rot. Right now I am liking Comeback Story :

Monster Magnet will release its new album, Last Patrol on October 15th through Napalm Records.

Rush have unveiled details for their first new recording since being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame earlier this year. On November 19th, Rush: Clockwork Angels Tour will be released simultaneously via Anthem/Roadrunner Records on CD and the companion Bluray/DVD on Anthem/Zoe Vision/Rounder.

Frontiers Records is proud to announce the release of iconic Christian rockers Stryper's new studio album, NO MORE HELL TO PAY; the offering has been confirmed for a November 5th release in North America and will be available in two formats – standard CD and deluxe digipak featuring exclusive video content.

Matt Good's Arrows of Desire was released today. Some very solid tracks within.

Haim "Days Are Gone" out in the next few days but is streaming on NPR right now. http://www.npr.org/2013/09/25/225839...-days-are-gone

Most of these songs have been on repeat on youtube in the lead up but still good to hear them collectively.

iTunes preorder $7.99 expected release October 1rst.

Really enjoying Matt Good's new album, almost sounds like a Matthew Good Band album! This guy just writes good music consistantly!

I second the new Matt Good Album...I actually prefer the stuff he has done since leaving the "band". His own personal style really comes through in all his recent albums, it's nice to have him writing his own stuff and not putting out what the record labels want him to.

Looking forward to his concert at Jack Singer.

For me the standouts are Arrows of Desire, Garden of Knives, Hey Hell Heaven, and Letters in Wartime. I'm not sure he's ever released an album with a final track that didn't blow me away.
