I'll be at both home games in the lower bowl wearing a FlamesNation hoodie because I apparently don't own any other clothes.

Still hard to see Stankoven with such success from that round, but very heartening to see some signs of life with our pick.

In regards to Stromgren, I think I’ve earned the right to say I told y’all so…..

Just realized Stromgren still 20 years old....gotta give it a couple more years for these European players.

Will the Wranglers draw over 1000 fans for these games?

Have had stromgren as my dark horse for a while. Big skilled winger who skates well and has a good shot. Yes please.

Same skill set with honzek.

They get a few thousand for weekend games, Sunday's usually fill the lower bowl.

Sundays usually have discounted tickets, not sure if they will have the same fortune charging $45 a ticket.

I feel they should have approached these games like the old “Hitmen Playoff Train”

Give your employees a discount code to share around for $15 tickets.

Agreed. Surprised they aren't going this route. I haven't missed a home game all season, and I'll be there for the playoffs, but I wonder if they are thinking, "these are likely the only playoff games we'll get so let's cash in?"

But more people at decent price means more people buying food, drinks and merch.

The lower bowl is typically not filled; there is no chance of that. CSEC should have implemented inexpensive tickets and extended happy hours throughout the game. Such an approach could have appealed to casuals, perhaps with offerings like $5 foam and grub.

Yeah it's pricey at $45 . Should have had some kind of promotion for Families $90 for 3 and kids get free popcorn and sodas ?

Wear your Flames gear and get tickets for $35 walk in only.

Bring a drum or cowbell....we need more cowbell $35 walk in.

Make it exciting !!! Seems our PR department needs to PR more.

Get pictures with the Wolf for $ ....donated to a children's Hospital.

During the regular season on Sundays it absolutely would be at least at 85% full (and likely a higher percentage sold with STH not in attendance) and they’d open up the second level.

That's a big jump from last season. I haven't attended any games this year. I used to use my company's box, and we'd always comment on what a ghost town it was. The second bowl opening was never a thing. An 85% full bowl is very nice to hear.

Default Calgary Wranglers 2023-24 Season thread

As high as $45 sounds, they’re actually amongst the cheapest in the AHL for playoffs.

For comparison, the remaining Pacific Teams prices are
- Coachella’s tickets range from $34USD to $120USD
- Abbotsford tickets range from $43CAD to 101CAD
- Reign don’t have any regular tickets available yet

I guess the biggest perk for the Wranglers pricing is they don’t charge extra for premium seat location…

That said, the Wranglers play in the largest venue in the AHL, they could charge far less at the gate and still come out ahead, if you’re in a 6000 seat barn, you can charge higher prices as there are limited seats… but in a 20,000 seat arena… you don’t have to worry about leaving money on the table by charging too little.
