Should CP be concerned about this? or it doesn't matter.

At most, I'm concerned about a data breach. The forum software is about 15 years old. I removed my personal email and used one that doesn't identify me. Also updated my password to something unique/random and complex.

Anders Puck Nielsen on the ""FSB False Flag" "conspiracy".

Essentially, that's a story the Kremlin would much prefer over the reality, because it makes Putin look ruthless and totally in control, instead of him looking like a fool and it makes his security service look like they're evil instead of incompetent.

My password is the same as it was when Photon changed it as a joke. Technically all the mods could log into my account at any time and use me as a vessel to mock and deride people they can't mock and deride from their own or the Mod account.

Who knows, maybe that's already happening.

Interesting points by President Zelenskyy from the interview with WaPo: - Strikes on oil refineries "The reaction of the U.S. was not positive on this but we used our drones. Nobody can say to us you can’t.” 1/8
"If there is no air defense to protect our energy system, and Russians attack it, my question is: Why can’t we answer them? Their society has to learn to live without petrol, without diesel, without electricity. … It’s fair.” 2/8

1/ Russian military personnel are reportedly paying bribes to be posted to Syria rather than Ukraine. As casualties mount in the 'Special Military Operation', Syria now appears to be seen as a much safer option for military service

It should be more than clear by now to all that the U.S. is not pursuing the policy of Russian military & political defeat. It was never the plan. It should ALSO be crystal clear that DC never intended for Kyiv to achieve even military battlefield victory in Ukraine. 1/10

Ukraine’s Kaniv and Dniester hydroelectric power plants were among the deliberate targets of Russian mass air strikes this night. The terrorist state of Russia wishes to repeat the ecological disaster in the Kherson region following Russia’s destruction of the Kakhovka HPP.

Yesterday, the moment of the Russian's mysterious self-destruction could be seen in poor quality on social networks. To stop the endless stream of absurd versions of this event, we show how it really happened Our kamikaze drone was hunting an orc and moments before being hit it lost control, causing it to land very carefully on the ground.

I am baffled by the U.S. chastising Ukraine for their attacks on the Russian oil refineries.

Have at'em! Destroy it all. And good on you for thinking outside the box and hitting them where it hurts.
It's guerilla tactics from here on out.

It effects the global market including the United states so shouldn't be baffling.

Really? The US goal is the slow bleed of Russia for several billion dollars. If oil prices rise it affects them domestically and will affect Biden negatively in the polls as it will make inflation worse. The US acts in self interest.

There is nothing that pisses off American voters more than high gas prices.

I don't really get the logic of 'Ukraine attacking Russian refineries makes the gas price in the west go up' argument. Seems like misinformation to me... Maybe a certain nation can spook the markets enough so they can sell a barrel of oil for $5 more.

The media does not help by reporting XXX thousand barrels or production is lost even though that production is Russia upgrading its own oil into useful products like petrol, diesel, jet fuel, etc. What is really happening is Ukraine is forcing Russia to limit its 'liquid bribes' to certain nations and forcing Russia to sell oil to them at $70 a barrel instead of selling the same upgraded barrel of gasoline at $120+ plus a barrel. Russia has also issued a 6 month fuel export ban to help this out and if they get desperate they might decide to loot fuel from their lesser regions like they already did with the fighting aged men.

Ukraine is point on with this strategy the Russians will not stop until they realize Putin is screwing most of them over horribly. Russia is forced to sell oil instead of upgraded fuel at a discount and the price of oil and therefore gasoline, diesel, and other useful dinosaur squeezings will go down for most of the world.

If you take gasoline off the market that is being used for bribes you increase the demand for regular gasoline, and therefore increase the price. It’s simple supply and demand.

Refining space is really tight.

It is absolutely the correct strategy for the Ukraine because of its impact.

Here's my question for tonight: If Russia is winning so unstoppably and brilliantly now (still fighting for ruined small towns in Ukraine's east in the third year of its 10-day blitzkrieg) and entire Ukraine is so hopelessly doomed, why are literally all Russian shills ripping their asses apart yelling 'IT'S OVER SUE FOR PEACE NOW'?

Russians have been pushing hard in the east over the last week. Thankfully they seem to be taking massive losses for very small gains.
