Mandatory and important activity: Roster review and position additions

I'm a huge believer that, value wise, this step is one of the most important things you can do for your players.
A forward that can play multiple positions >>> a player who cannot.

Is there anything stopping someone from just playing a forward at any position they want though? I just realized Namestnikov was only listed as a C in the sim but all last year I was playing him at RW. The DET homepage had him listed as a RW but I guess the SIM didn't? I went through all my players and added positions but not sure I really get the point of it!

Honour system. You cant play a guy out of position once positions are locked in the SIM. Which is why adding positions to reflect what's in the SIM is ciritical.

What shows on your roster page online is irrelevant.

Players playing out of position are reflected negatively in the sim (if that function is turned on). It does hurt your team (if that function is turned on).

I'm getting links from sites not included in the list above.

This is the approved list. If you can't find proof from these sites then chances are it's not a legit position for the player. If we want to add to the list it's only fair that everyone has a chance to source from the same links. But I also don't want to get bogged down trying to evaluate every single possible site.

So for every season does the SIM reset the player positions. Or once you send in the positions are those locked in for the players entire CPHL career?

Can you add players mid season? I only focused on my main roster players. Do I need to add everyone that might play now?

Yup. Do it all now as no position changes/additions are made mid-season.
