Well it's inevitable since your other two options are basically Jyoti and Jeff.

I requested a mail-in ballot last week and they don't seem to require any proof that you qualify for any of those categories. You just have to check the box that says you qualify.

Anyone know much about Jennifer Wyness. She came to our door and sounds nice and all and her website says all the right things but I just want to make sure she's not a nutcase before I consider voting for her.

Heard nothing but good things. Smart and sensible, not outside influence from political groups or whatever or hidden agendas. A better option than Magliocca and Tyers, for sure. She came second to Joe last time.

My wife and I are both voting for Jennifer. As PF said above, very sensible and came close to beating incumbent Magliocca last election who was then without scandal. Wyness also ran a $6K election budget compared to Magliocca's $365K...
I still can't believe that clown had the audacity to run again this election, pisses me off and I want to see him get hammered.

I'll be voting for Jan Damery, I think she has the right background and motivation for the job. Switched over from the Gondek train.
Anybody but Farkas at the end of the day. If he wins though, I will consider transferring to another office in another city; I'm not sure my personal stress tolerance could handle a Farkas / Kenney leadership structure. That almost makes me rage just thinking about it.

If it's anyone but Farkas, why would you support an option that helps Farkas win? At this point it looks like the only way to prevent Farkas so to vote Gondek. Now, that could change, but right now, that's the picture.

Because I also believe in a certain candidate, and I will vote accordingly. That's how I approach elections.

I have to hope that the City who voted for 3 terms of Nenshi will also eventually get behind Gondek.
If Farkas loses, does he disappear from municipal politics?

I would bet he tries sneaking into provincial politics.

I like Jan Damery too but have to go on the anybody but Farkas train and vote Gondek.
So most likely Ward for Councillor and Gondek for Mayor.

Respect the notion, but honestly if you’re hinging a life decision like moving out of the city based on whether Farkas wins or not, it seems monumentally stupid to me to vote in a way that would make Farkas more likely to win, even if only slightly.
Unless you want to move… then you should just move and not pretend it’s because of Farkas?

I think it's fine to support the "best candidate" this far out. If everyone jumped straight to strategic votes, Nenshi would have never emerged from the pack. Once you get to game day, however, ABJ all the way.
