I certainly would have had Holtby backup Markstrom for 2 million bucks.

So they have:
- Bishop (LTIR)
- Khudobin
- Oettinger
and they added Holtby too? Unless they are starting to think that Bishop is going to be on LONG term IR, seems way too crowded in net, especially with how well Oettinger played for them last year.

From what I can tell, Holtby is not an NHL goalie anymore. 2 consecutive years with a sub 900 save %

Can we take one of those guys for a backup? Holtby to Dallas doesn’t make sense. Would be happy to take Oettinger.

But yes, I would LOVE to get Oettinger as a backup if Dallas were so inclined.
