Good for him. I still feel he can be a solid 1A with the right goalie coach. I feel like Mike Smith rubbed off on him in the wrong way and he was still feeling it even after he left. If Ritter can calm down and get out of his own head I think he can still be a great goalie.

He was an amazing goalie against Toronto and he's even an All-Star Goalie.

I hope he does well there. I doubt he can pry that job away from Saros, but it is just as good of an opportunity as anywhere else, and the Preds have been great with their goalies. Hopefully he takes that last step forward and becomes a reliable #1 for next off-season.
