I see Lowe has spoken to Ceci prior to his interview on TSN. First words out of his mouth Ceci says he likes the Oilers cause they have a lot of young talent. Screw off, no doubt propaganda minister Lowe told Ceci that he had to refer to the Oilers as "young". Good God, they have been describing them as the young Oilers since they joined the NHL in 79. The Flames are a younger team than the Oilers but does anyone call them the "young" Flames? #### I hate how the Oilers manipulate the media!!!

We knew that trading for Ceci was the price to get rid of Nikita Zaitsev’s contract and it’s unlikely to see him being moved at this point but if Dubas is able to, he should consider it.

In fact, according to Natural Statrick, 204 defencemen have played 1500 minutes or more in the past three years. Cody Ceci ranks 201st in CF% and 203rd in CA/60 in that time. He also ranks 200th in xGF% and 187th in xGA/60. Simply put, he has been one of the worst regular defenders of the past three years.
