Great (bad) goaltending is not extremely (un)lucky.
Goalies can turn games. Price was way better than Fleury.

The gift from MAF is certainly lucky...as was the crossbar by Stone minutes earlier.
Miracle cross crease save by Price is him being a top goalie

you watch Price, no wasted movement, strong side to side, perfect positioning. Other goalies flopping making weird save and people believe they should win trophies, when guys like Price, Rask and Vasilevski (Vezina nom though) basically play solid positionally and make the saves they should. Does Price ever look in a panic mode against Vegas?

I never said "i told you so"...read again.
I will say that the ridiculous narrative that "whoever comes out of the North is gonna get skated off the ice by Vegas or Colorado" was always way over the top. This is still the NHL.
I still expect Vegas can win this thing but it was never ever going to be easy.

Once again , goalies count too. Price got them to OT and Fleury didn’t get Vegas the W in regulation.
Secondly, Vegas were outplayed in OT.
Vegas’s top players were average at best.
