laughter is the best medicine.

"And laughter appears to burn calories, too. Maciej Buchowski, a researcher from Vanderbilt University, conducted a small study in which he measured the amount of calories expended in laughing. It turned out that 10-15 minutes of laughter burned 50 calories"

If the Coyotes can shock the world tonight, LA is in a heap of trouble.

They will have only 4 home games left, and odds will drop by 15%:

Scrum in the Buffalo/Washington game after Weber hit Backstrom, Ovechkin comes in to defend Backstrom and Weber throws 3 or 4 real punches into Ovechkin's face who hadn't dropped his gloves.

Ovechkin got the extra minor somehow though.

Glencross has been an extremely solid fit for the caps. Good for him.

Glencross on a rebound gets the tying goal.

4 goals, 2 assist in 7 games now for Washington. Go Glenny go!

Scoreface!

He's been a nice fit in Washington. He was trying to set guys up here, but seems obvious Trotz wants him finishing there.

Lightning are cutting people's faces open again. Brenden Morrow with a high sticking double minor.

Pacioretty with an embarrassing turnover, spins around and gives Stamkos a breakaway, who promptly blows one by Price.

2-0 Lightning.

Hilarious!

3-0 Lightning and the Canadiens just ran Bishop behind the net. Slow to get up and a scrum breaks out.

On the replay, Prust gave Bishop a smallish bodycheck behind the net, nothing huge. But naturally that won't go over well.

Prust also started swinging as soon as the Lightning came to defend Bishop.

Bit of a cheap shot there, Prust.

On the 2nd replay, yeah Prust gave a legit bodycheck to Bishop. They have a history too.

Montreal might beat Boston in round 1, 0% chance they beat the Lightning in round 2 though. So their Cup hopes come down to Detroit doing it for them. Lightning might be the team to beat in the East though.
