It's crazy, especially the pitching and in particular the bull pen.

Currently in the rotation and bull pen are:

Ryu
Walker
Anderson
Roark
Stripling
Ray

Dolis
Bass
Cole
Yamaguchi
Merryweather
Hatch
Kay
Borucki
Reid-Foley

So Giles comes back and Foley gets bumped.
Now who gets bumped when Romano comes back?
Then Pearson comes back....now who goes?
Who gets turfed when Shoemaker comes back?
If Font ever comes back he's probably screwed.

Stripling, Yamaguchi, Kay, Borucki and Hatch are the only other guys besides SRF who have options.

The way things are going though, someone else will probably get hurt first and they won't have to worry about it, but if they're ever healthy at the same time some tough decisions will have to be made.

Hard to be optimistic for today's game. Hopefully this team can pull another rabbit out of the hat, but with Roark starting and 4 of our 5 best hitters on the shelf it will be tough sledding.

I was really excited to see if he was turning the corner or just having a hot run. Doubtful we can see that now which is a real shame.

Yeah I can't wait for Bichette to be back, because Bo is the best player on the team, but also because it should bump Villar to the bench. He has been absolutely terrible in the field and on the bases. The more I watch him, the more I dislike the idea that we gave up assets to get him.

Across the board, they are a solid offensive team. I think Dante Bichette's presence has been a Godsend for them.

The craziest thing about these numbers is that:

1. Vlad is a league average hitter
2. Bo isn't even playing
3. Jansen is an offensive black hole

If you would have told me in the off season that those three things would happen but the Jays would be a top 5 offensive team in the AL I would never have believed you.
