As shown above, Suniev gets 1g, and was even, as the contest between #19 UMass and #9 Boston U ends in a 3-3 tie after double OT. Suniev had a game-high 6 shots. 6gp/3g/1a/4pts,even, 0 PIM.

Sergeev got the night off, as UConn loses 1-0 to UMass Lowell. Ethan Haider stopped 23 of 24.

Looks like Sergeev is being outplayed by Haider
2.40 vs 1.39
.916% vs .942%
Both at 5 games

Did something happen for you to make the comment? I see he's cooled off a bit so just asking.

Boltmann has been healthy scratched this season as well.

Not sure why a scout went to bat so hard for this guy. One of the more notable busts in recent memory.

Was he healthy scratched or was he hurt? It's hard to find injury info from the NCAA.

#15 ranked UMass played yesterday, defeating #5 ranked Providence 3-2. Suniev was held off the score sheet. They play again tomorrow.

unranked UConn faces #3 Boston College tonight. Should be a very difficult test for Sergeev, assuming he starts. BC is loaded with top prospects.

Nov.17th:

UConn loses to #4 Boston U, 5-4 in OT. Ethan Haider takes the loss in net, stopping 35 of 40.

Zeros for Boltmann, as #17 Notre Dame defeats #6 Minnesota, 4-2. 8 games, no points, -6, 12 PIM. Do we even care about this kid as a prospect anymore?

^ Boltmann was a giant headscratcher as a 3rd rounder. Some scout must have put their neck out there for him.

I've seen Boltmann play in person a few times. Very unremarkable. Which for a defensive defensemen, might be a good thing. But he didn't seem any better than his peers, despite being a third round pick. Seems like a great dude though.

The guy taken after him, Wyatt Kaiser, seems to be a regular NHLer for Chicago now. But I doubt he'll be anything special either. Beyond that, no one taken after Boltmann seems that interesting. So we don't have to have that much regret.
