The American quad king is done. Can't go into the Olympic game just on quads.

if this keeps up the gold might be sealed tonight. Hanyu currently has a 13 point lead over an 18 year old and a 21 point lead over Patrick Chan.

Still showing womens slalom and theres a ton of skiers, have seen athletes from North Korea, Lebanon, Malta, Madagascar. Some not so good skiers but man are they happy to make it thru both runs.

3-2 Denmark over Canada in the 4th end of play in women's curling. Homan still seems a bit off for whatever reason. She needs to get back to her old self fast!

Not able to watch but is there a reason the minnows are allowed to compete? Rules changed I thought which relied on World Cup or similar rankings for most sporting federations so another Eddie the Eagle couldn’t really happen.

Homan comes up woefully short on a draw. Not even close. A steal of 1 for the Danes.
That rink is in serious trouble right now.

Homan is just not curling very well now. She has no confidence in her game.
It's shaping up to be the first time Canada doesn't get a medal in curling at the Olympics.

Whew, big end for Homan, finally. 4 in the 5th and they now lead by 2.

That was huge for Homan. Can’t lose this game.
Danes really mis swept their last one giving her that opportunity.

I only caught part of the explanation for the allowance of the skiers not in the World Cup rankings. Some countries were given special entries by the Olympic committee and part of the reason seemed to be for diplomacy after Kim Jong Un expresses interest in sending a united team.

That was a nice 4 for Homan in the 5th end, but a bit of breach of unwritten curling etiquette by removing the burned stone by Denmark. Hopefully karma does not come back to bite them

Homan is overthrowing her stones right now, she needs to play with less weight on her take-out attempts.

Kinda crazy I'm scared she'll miss an easy draw or take out, but she did well there. Canada up by 1. Lots of game left.

If the stone was burned, shouldn’t the Danes have removed voluntarily? My knowledge is kind of limited to Men with Brooms.

This is not a well played game. Neither back end can make a draw.
