Default [GDT] CPHL Trade Deadline Day

Who will make moves? Who will watch from the sidelines as the other teams get better?

Coyotes are open to moving players, we can include cap in the moves if required.

Cats will trade and of their picks for players that can help with a cup push. Would also need salary help though

Taking calls on Karlsson, Monahan, Hathaway and Binnington.

I'll have a chance to look at inquiries later this afternoon.

People shouldn't be making trades that put them over the cap. That doesn't seem like in the spirit of things. But we've never come across this level of end of season activity where people are trying to bend the rules.
Which makes me think next year we should push the deadline up to be earlier.
For this year, please don't make trades that put you over the cap. That's never been the goal or intent of having a late deadline. It was to keep teams engaged and able to trade as late as possible.

A bunch are not roster compliant as well. CPHL and AHL rosters over or under

Looking for a middle six right winger. Open to a player swap or a rental.

Where's the blockbusters???

Philly is open but laying low. We're seasoned pros at spending lots at the deadline only to be rewarded with a 1st round exit.

We have a few pieces we were aiming to move for small upgrades but don't know if there's going to be any big moves. And that's ok too as we made some moves to bring some vets a few weeks ago.

Sharks already made their moves, bolstered up the depth and will ride with what we have.

Islanders have traded Evgeny Kuznetsov to Florida in exchange for defence prospect Ryan Ufko.

Islanders are actively looking to move Nico Sturm to get under the cap. Failing that, we will place him on waivers ... but that would mean that a 70 overall pending UFA would be unavailable to any playoff teams, as he would only clear/be claimed after the trade deadline and be ineligible to play in the playoffs.

That's your incentive to get on this. First person to offer a pick gets him. Versatile with strong ratings across the board. Great playoff insurance. Cannot offer any cap.

Coyotes as mentioned above, can cover the cap.

Have several players that can help playoff teams.

Including a goalie, forwards and defense.

Panthers still open to do more business but will only be around for another hour or so due to the leagues continued refusal to work on a UK timescale.

Lightning are happy to hear about this move to totally tank any chemistry in the Panthers lineup
