Yeah, 100k to the charity of each player's choice, 1M total.
I have to say, Bieksa is clearly a total dick, but he's pretty funny.

It'd certainly be nice if it wasn't, as mentioned a "lowest effort" competition. But honestly it's still got its moments, the Oshie shot was pretty cool, as was Holtby robbing Weber there at the end.
What I really wish would stop is the constant "hey, isn't it really funny how we're smirkingly pretending that this is super important when it's really the least important thing that no one should care about at all" tone they do, i.e. with whoever that woman is coaching the Atlantic.
... Did Jon Hamm just refer to St. Louis as "the Lou"? Is that a thing? I feel like giving your town a nickname that sounds an awful lot like "the toilet" is not the best call.

All the tech they are trying is not for me.
The amount of “stuff” on the screen is annoying me. It really doesn’t matter to me what the puck speed is, how fast they are skating, who is on the ice. It just clutters up the screen and is too much to look at. The puck line is the most distracting. I hope they don’t make any of that a permanent thing for broadcasts. I don’t think any of that will attract new viewers.
I do like the boards though and the goal graphics have potential. Goal scored, lights go down, boards all turn red with flames. I could see that being awesome...until someone fired a wide slapped and smashed the display.

I don't know if you guys get the commercials, but all US NHL Center Ice and the NBC games run Dunkin Donuts commercials non stop featuring Pastrnak being called Pasta. Not sure that makes it ok, but is a back story if you guys don't get those commercials.

I'd be ok if they replaced the players with CGI players actually trying to win.

LOL, it's an all star game. It's not really supposed to be that professional. I'm fine with Hughson throwing out the nicknames.

Couple of things. First, it's going to be fantastic for replays, especially when a puck is deflected. Second, it's going to completely change how the game is analyzed. So much more information to be sifted through to determine how to win hockey games.

Oh, good. It’s time for the annual evisceration of Ron McLean courtesy of Commissioner Gary Bettman.
This is possibly my favourite ASG past-time.

When it comes to the 3 on 3 All-Star format I really only care about the games the Pacific are in. I just zone out the other games.
