Any pizza places that has dipping sauces for the pizza can GTFO. Pizza doesn't need your extra mayo of butter based sauce to be good. If it does than it's trash.
Nothing right in Aspen, Weitz. But if you're going to go as far as Spiros (worth it) than give Jeanne's Pizza Pantry a try. They're located at 2741 17th ave SW. Good ingredients, decent prices, good crust and sauce. No dipping sauces.
I don't mind Andaro's either (Cougar Ridge) - my family is divided on this one however.
Andaros was recommended to us when we first moved to the area. It may have been an off night, but I recall it being the worst non-chain pizza I've ever had and there are too many good options to give them another chance...
Our go-to is usually Spiros, but have been having Sophies more often lately. We're often in Marda Loop on Friday evenings and will also pick up Volos on the way home. Might give Jeanne's a shot this weekend.
Best value pizza I've come across has to be Great Canadian Pizza in Copperfield. $11.99 for a 14" 3 topping pizza is essentially half the price of most chain places. The pizza isn't a world beater but I'd take it over the chain stuff any time.

Has anyone tried Paul's Pizza (Shawnessy)? I keep meaning to but haven't yet
My wife and I tried it but weren't too fond. They have too much of a spice in the sauce (could be cinnamon and/or clove?) that we didn't really care for. Doesn't mean that someone else wouldn't enjoy it though.

Volos is horrendous. It's on par with Pizza 73 but for twice the price. I live a few blocks away, but make the drive out to Sophie's every time.

I tried this place once when it opened up nearby in my area.

Used to be even less - $8.99 I think? But yeah, even at this price it's a great value and one of our go-to's.
