None of these log jam teams are bad. None of them are amazing next tier teams, but none of them are bad. Each one of these teams has a pretty big flaw is all but on any given night could win a game.


I'll be shocked if any of them win a play-off round though.

The Bruins are struggling lately and the Knights lead 2-1 after forty minutes.

The other two games involving western conference teams has the Jets losing 3-1 heading into the third period. The Blackhawks are in a scoreless tie in the first period.

The Bruins get goals from DeBrusk and Krejci to take the 3-2 lead. Lots of shots, 15-12 Bruins in just the third period.

Instead of blowing a third period lead, the Bruins do the opposite and come from behind to win in regulation. Good news for the Flames.

More good news, Justin Williams is the first star as he scores twice and the Hurricanes blow the Jets down 4-1.
