26. Brett Wright, C, Auburn
27. Kyle Luckham, RHP, El Dorado HS
28. Andy McGuire, IF, University of Texas
29. Cre Finfrock, RHP, Central Florida
30. Cobi Johnson, RHP, Florida State
31. Austin Easter, RHP, UNC-Wilmington
32. Joey Pulido, RHP, University of Houston
33. Matt Harris, RHP, Florida Atlantic
34. Grant Townsend, RHP, Oral Roberts
35. Damiano Palmegiani, 3B, Vauxhall HS
36. Kameron Guangorena, C, St. John Bosco HS
37. Parker Caracci, RHP, U Mississippi

Some things to note in this batch...

Finfrock is interesting (and not just for the A+ name) some good result but iffy heath record. Ditto for Cobi Johnson (bad health) who may just be a nepotism pick (Dad works for the Jays) but was highly regarded in his prep eligibility year, Palmegiani is from Alberta, and finally Kameron Guangorena is a player (a ranked player I mean) he almost certainly won't sign (he's basically the Jays insurance policy in the event that Conine or Kloffenstein don't sign).

... and for at least a fleeting moment I feel good about humanity. Luke Heimlich goes undrafted. Good on you mlb teams.

Man it'd be nice if they've stumbled onto something with Gaviglio.

6 innings of 3 hit, shut out ball against the Yanks.

He's been decent so far.

Hopefully Estrada can have about 4 or 5 more starts like yesterdays too, in a row. Then maybe the Jays can get something for him.

Now this is reporting...

How one tiny change to the baseball may have led to both the home run surge and the rise in pitcher blisters

Quote:
After taking apart and examining twenty-six baseballs, not only have I found a possible explanation for the decrease in drag, but one that could also account for the recent spike in pitcher blister injuries.

C'mon Jays quit chasing. Be a bit more selective.
