After 6 full seasons with the Kings in the NHL, looks like Nolan has taken a step back. I'm surprised he was sent down this early by the Blues.
Also looks like Louis Domingue has lost his backup spot in Tampa Bay. Or this might be just for waiver purposes, so they can send him down whenever they want. Would be interesting to see if a team that has goaltending issues (Blue Jackets for instance) make a claim.

I swear Domingue stole a game against us last year by stopping a ton of great chances. Might be misremembering.

He lost it the moment that Curtis McBackup signed with TB.

I wonder if Dotchin is at all salvageable still.

He played the game at the Saddledome just before Christmas. It wasn't a spectacular game for him, allowing 4 goals on 30 shots in regulation, including 3 pretty weak ones in the first. Then, it went to OT and he stopped 7 shots in OT and 6 of 7 shooters in the shootout.

Yup he should. I recall that TBay game, and he was outstanding when it mattered most.

Remember when Matt Beleskey lit up the Flames in the 2015 playoffs as a Ryan Getzlaf side kick...than got big money from the Bruins.

If I were the Oilers, I'd pick up Domingue and send Koskinen down, hoping he refuses to report to the AHL

The Bruins signed him for 5 years @3.8M ...
With the cap going up it should have been a great contract for a 30 goal scorer as everyone does better than they do in the year their current contract expires.

You're not - I was at that game. Monahan had two or three point blank chances to end it in overtime, and Domingue said no.

If we hadn't signed Talbot I'd be all over Domingue. The Oilers absolutely should cause I wouldn't trust their current tandem as far as i could throw them. Luckily they will probably stand pat to see that disaster unfold.
