IMO this should have been the last run-off instead of Gillies/Ruzicka (obviously they got more votes)... these two guys are just much better players.

Anyway I voted for Gawdin but I'll be happy to see Zagidulin win it.

After Zagidulin wins this run-off I think he's the last prospect that has more than a minuscule chance of being a regular NHL player.

You keep pushing this narrative that Gawdin is a superior prospect to Ruzicka as if it is fact, when that just isn’t true.

Ruzicka is right on schedule development wise and in my opinion just had a better 19 year old season in junior than Gawdin did.

Barring a massive jump forward next year Gawdin is looking like a career AHL player. At least Ruzicka still has the development runway to fulfill his potential.

Going with Zag here.

The very first thing I said in that post was IMO... "In my opinion."

Great chance? Not at all ... and I'm certainly not trying to split hairs on this stuff.

But I think intriguing guys on the list that still remain would include

Carl-Johan Lerby
Dustin Wolf
Eetu Tuulola
Josh Nodler
Linus Lindstrom
Lucas Feuk
Luke Philp
Milos Roman

The Flames list isn't deep when it comes to blue chip players with many graduated, but I do think it's thick with players that have upside and a chance.

Agreed. Especially for the 2019 draft class, it is too hard to project.

I feel like Roman is being vastly underrated in the polling.

Nodler is a guy that I can see moving up the ranks as well.

Scorpion has always had a tendency to support/like the underdogs, and I can respect that.

I voted for Zagidullin in the run-off, but I think Lomberg also can carve himself out a bit part NHL career, so I'll be voting for him next round onwards.

I guess I need to brush up on my internet slang.

Regardless, statements like "these two guys are just much better players" are laughable.

Zagidulin has never played in North America and Gawdin has had 2 extra years of development.
