I've made my opinion, backed up with the fact the Dome is full of non-retro jerseys and "average" NHL fans don't spend their time on message boards. You do you and live in the past being hypocrites with your panties in a bunch because you've been called out on it.

You must be a hit at parties.
The retros are good because they’re classic. They’re beautiful. I wasn’t alive for the glory years and I love them anyway.
Edmonton is mocked because everything about Edmonton sucks. Players we like go to Edmonton? They suck now. Edmonton makes a choice we’d praise 30 other teams for? Too bad, bad choice and they still suck.
This is a very simple concept.

I was born the year the Flames won the Cup.
The retros are the best jersey they have.

What exactly makes your thin-skinned opinion on hockey sweaters the gold standard?
Just asking for a friend... who doesn’t want to bully anyone.

Looks like TLJ got a Lifetime ban.
I was this close to obtaining immaculate jersey fashion sense... now...
I’ll never know.

What a relief. Now, we can get back to appreciating our amazing retro jerseys and how I am going to be 300 dollars poorer by the end of the week.

Someone suggested it in another thread and I agree it's pretty clear: TLJ was returning banned poster GoJetsGo. He just had a way of getting into fights with everyone and then playing the victim.

I don't think so. If that guy came back he'd be really straight forward in his poor posting. I couldn't see him being wise enough or interested in true entertainment trolling like this guy was doing.

Yeah no doubt. Oiler fans get mocked because they've been one of the worst teams in sports the past 13 seasons yet beat their chests like they're Patriots fans because of what happened 30 years ago, its cringe-worthy and deserving of mockery. We just think the retro Flames jerseys are slick-looking...huge difference.

Locker room wall was repainted last summer. Another sign that the Flames will go full retro in a year or two.
This is how it looked like last year:

I'm sure it factors in. Which is why it's nice to be getting a new facility to get a lot of things up to modern standard.

My Heritage Classic jersey came in today. Could not be more happy with it. What an absolutely beautiful jersey.
I can’t wait to see them live! Officially one month away!

Looks like the Flames will wear whites on Feb. 17th at home. First since 2010 IIRC.
Me thinks that white uniform might be the Heritage Classic one.

I’d bet facilities that affect them day to day like DRs play a way bigger role than you’d think. Not so much the exterior or entertainment districts, but practice rinks, DRs, video and fitness setups.

I purchased one blank. They are available nameless at the CGY team store now. Was thinking of cresting it with the best performer of the game to remember it by. Maybe even cresting Lucic to send good vibes for a strong season from him.

Came to post the same thing.
Continuing to be off topic, but the medicine Hat Tigers, for example, have a dressing room/player facilities that make ours look like a joke.
