Hazard Retires.

Quote:
Eden Hazard announced his retirement from professional football on Tuesday at the age of 32, bringing an end to his 16-year career.

The forward enjoyed successful periods at Lille and Chelsea before ending his club career with a disappointing spell at Real Madrid.

My 7 year old daughter has made some soccer fan friends at school. Yesterday came home to tell me Messi is her favourite player while Ronaldo is the worst player in the world

You can dislike him...which I do, but this statement is just objectively incorrect.

Might be the best halfway line goal ever, he hits the back of the net without a bounce!

Did that announcer think that Harry Kane was Thomas Muller?

Because that was very clearly Harry Kane.

He’s not a bad player. Could do well in the Premier League someday.

Every week Birmingham look smarter and smarter for retiring Bellingham's jersey, they were ahead of the curve.

I dont think he has what it takes to hack it in the Premier League, my understanding is that his old team is even doing better without him...

Yassine Bounou finished thirteenth in the Ballon d'Or voting. Surely the first time a Canadian born player has appeared on the ballot?

pretty nasty stuff in France once again. The game between Marseille and Lyon had to be cancelled after Marseille supporters attacked Lyon's bus by throwing stones, bottles and other things. Lyon's manager Fabio Grosso was hit in the face and injured, his assistant was also injured.

Grosso's face afterwards:

ugly stuff. Football rivalry is one thing, but this is just unacceptable.

Breaking: Australia's GDP just grew by 1.3% for some unknown, unrelated reason.

Essentially by being hooked up to America and the Competition being expanded.

If they're going to award it Qatar and now Saudi they needed someplace clean in the middle and America was it, we're just along for the ride.

Bayern knocked out of the Pokal by Saarbrucken. They have an injury crisis with only one healthy CB and their midfield is equally decimated right now.

As a Canadian I’m worried about Davies. He has been REALLY up and down this year
