7 points back with the win. Lol, they're just hurting the lottery hopes, and that's about it.

5 out of the last 6 points! This run has taken them from 7 points behind 8th place to 7 points behind 8th place.

Seriously the Oilers played two games against teams that had actually played tough games the night before in Calgary, and they're on an awesome run.

Their next two games are against the Preds and Leafs and I'm betting they get their collective faces caved in.

Gagner still seems humble. The entitlement must have been washed off in his time away from the Oilers.

This is my hope too. They barely survived against two teams that had played really hard the night before in Calgary. You’re SUPPOSED to win games against teams coming into your barn on the second of back-to-backs. But in Oiler-Land, doing your job makes you invincible.

Tonight, they were lucky not to surrender at least a loser point to the Ducks. I despise the Ducks as much as anybody, but I really wanted that to go to overtime—three point games against division rivals don’t help the oilers.

In my view, that was a tying goal. If Rittich can be completely removed from the crease during a goal against Dallas, Koskinen can survive a love tap caused by his own man.

I’ve never seen a ref so emphatic about marginal goaltender interference. Once again, the NHL’s inconsistency influenced a game’s result. And I can’t believe I even care, given the teams playing...I’m just impatient to have the oilers final death stake be driven in.

I wouldn't worry about it. Even after their current little run where they managed to barely squeak out wins against two of the worst teams in the league, they're still 7 points out and would have to leapfrog 4 teams to get even a sniff of the last wildcard spot. They may not be mathematically out of it yet, but they're done.

The on ice call looks fine to me. Certainly not such an egregious miss as it is being characterized here.

Worded it weird.

After Kissimmee was bumped. He moved again under his own will to where he wanted.
