In all honesty, I wish we had one more tough guy on the farm that we could call up.

At this point Peters could start a monkey with a hockey stick in a game and I wouldn't even question it. Every lineup decision he makes seems to be the right one, I'm not going to start second guessing him now.

I like it from the point of protecting our guys from retribution for last game. I'm sure the Oilers are still fuming about good ole Turtle Boy. They need to have an answer to Lucic going headhunting.

But I shudder thinking about either Peluso or Prout getting caught out against McDavid. They'll be worse than pylons if he picks up speed in the neutral zone. They'll get burned hard. Peters is going to have to do some very careful bench management to limit this as much as possible.

I like this move especially because when one of the Oilers fanboys(media) said they should target Gaudreau. Damn rights I want Peluso in the lineup. You never know what that nutjob Kassian will do next.

May as well dress the tough guys. Don't need to be pushed around by the oilers. Plus the oilers are a different team to play against than the predators. Oilers are a one man team that if you shut down you win. Predators you need 4 lines rolling. Missing 2 of our best defenders in this one is going to be tough. Might as well goon it up a little and try to win that way.

If he’s a tough guy who’s a good player, I don’t have a problem. But if Prout and Peluso slow down our team’s game, then we’ve been sucked into the Oilers’ trap of slowing down our team so McDiver gets more running room.

Sucks for Quine if he gets taken out of the lineup after scoring

I must say I am excited to see Prout absolutely beat the tar out of an Oiler tonight. If Peluso wants to get in on the act that's fine too.

Peluso is the tougher fighter.

I’d guess Czarnik is the one coming out. Need Quine to play center.

Also, sent Lomberg down to Stockton, so does that mean he'll have to sit out another game when he gets recalled again?

Does 960 have any daytime flames radio on the weekends. I really enjoy listening to flames talk a few hours before the game.

I believe so, in 2016 Rinaldo was sent down when he had a 5 game NHL suspension and it looks like he served his 5 games after his next recall

Maybe I'm different but one of their meatheads suckering Tkachuk would be best case scenario as the Flames power play has been hot as of late. I really think the Flames need to ice their best lineup because of the Oilers getting the last line change you are going to see McDavid playing against the Flames 4th and 3rd lines. The Flames playing guys like Peluso is playing into the Oilers hands.

So he is out a month after getting hammered in the head.... and that would be a good thing in your eyes?

Yes like that's going to happen. One of them can push him around but I don't think we are going to see a Todd Bertuzzi incident. Flames didn't get to first in the Western conference by icing goons.
