Can you elaborate on this HP, I have not heard anything about this.. I was under the assumption that the World vs. World was like The Frontiers in DAoC. You just zone in and run around looking for fights and sieging towers.
There is a limit to the number of ppl that can be involved at one time?

In beta there has been server caps for the number of people that can get in, but as far as I know, there is no way to "block" people from entering. However, they are going to be raising those, so that people aren't sitting there waiting in queue for WvW.
I don't believe there would be any way to block someone or give preference to a guild. First come, first serve, if you aren't in there, you wait in queue, simple as that.

I am guessing because those are the hours they have their staff on to work with the game/problem..
Although they better be ready to work around the clock if they want any type of successful launch.

Ok, but hardly a "stress" test then.

I didn't get to participate in any of the betas, did anyone have a chance to try out engineer and guardian? I can't decide between the two.

Engineers do pretty well in structured pvp (5v5s) - they can plant mines, bombs and turrets causing a lot of damage to targets. They have overall good utility and are pretty funn.
Guardians are simply put, the bosses of WvW - their utility in huge teamfights is almost completely unmatched. They can use AoEs pretty well, have some really good tomes to use, have this troll bubble which makes it impassable, creating choke points. They can pump out a lot of positive conditions which are huge benefits for the team.

What's your thoughts on Necro's? I didn't get much time with one in the beta events as I mainly played ranger but decided to roll Necro tomorrow.

I am personally going to Blackgate cause they already have server forums/chat and my guild is going there.
Maybe don't choose Yak's bend if you want a low pop server.

So from what I gather, we (we being us non guilded CPers) have 3 options for which server to roll:
Northern Shiverpeaks (CaramonLS's Guild)
Blackgate (Qwerty's Guild)
Yak's Bend (funny name)

oh man ... the server I'm supposed to roll on is Jade Quarry haha, highest pop, most guilds. That could be trouble.

I think it all depends on what you like for server size, if you like small I would stay away from the ones with big pops.... BUT if DO NOT want to roll on the same server as GOON or RUIN. I think GOON is going to Maguuma, so stay away from that! Also the servers with more premade guilds will be probably have a higher skill level...

I was on the Alliance Goon Squad server in Warcraft ... it caused some hilarity but the population of the server was large enough that they didn't dominate the place like the horde version did on Mal'Ganis.

I didn't have a chance to play one either, but from our guild feedback, here is what I was able to gather:
Hard to kill, but they don't do a lot of damage. Probably have the most survivablility on the front lines of a fight.
They can be good with the right team comp, because they have skills and abilities which can change Boons ---> Conditions. For example, they will be picking out Guardians in teamfights and converting their boons. Their damage on certain skills scales with the number of conditions on targets.
Like all classes, they have their place in WvW combat.

Joined on Yak's Bend...was seemingly impossible to get onto that one during stress tests.
