So I'm up in Edmonton for a game ai conference, which is one of the few things they actually do well. At the q/a session somebody asked what advantage Edmonton has for drawing and retaining talent. The only answer was, "It's really easy to focus here."
Even better, at the start of today's session we found out that the water is out for the whole building!
This just in: apparently Flames hockey is just a form of entertainment for Neanderthals while Oilers hockey is an art exhibition for the cultural icon that is Edmonton.

Sounds like Edmonton. I found myself at the Hyatt in DT Edmonton this summer and there was a hobo passed out in the lobby doorway.
