Boom! Tied for 1st in the division.
That was easily the best game the team has played so far this year. Yea, it's the Devils and they suck. But the Flames finally looked like an elite team tonight. Solid and complete game from pretty much everybody.
Nice to see Johnny back to his old self tonight.
Great game from Backlund.
Also the Canucks lost, so that makes this a pretty damn good night all around.

Decent game...started off a bit sloppy, but picked it up and pounded it home.
No complaints.
That goal by Johnny was a "skills" goal...and I think that will help his confidence a lot.

Games in hand be damned but the Flames have now tied the Oilers in wins and points. Pretty rad considering the Oilers have had the best start imaginable and the Flames have stumbled.

Again, he had one fantastic year. Look how many bad plays he made tonight, took a dumb penalty too. The guy has oodles of skill but he is a low hockey IQ guy, he always has been. Not the guy you want to drop $10+ million a year to sign.

Best effort of the season! Johnny's goal reminded me of how he used to score in college. Good burst of speed there.
I know it's early on and still a small sample size, but Jack Hughes is IMMENSELY skilled and looks like a future potential superstar.

Very happy with this win. Team is definately coming together after a bit of a rough start. Tonight felt a lot like the routine wins of last season. Also, Mangiapane is growing on me, that guy is really finding his stride right now.

On my way back from the Dome, so I'm guessing another midnight ATL.
Devils just seemed to have 0 compete after the 3-2 goal. Losing every single puck battle, couldn't clear the zone, couldn't get control in the Flames zone when they did, and blasted shots high and wide.
They looked very much like a lottery team. Hall must be getting deja vu.
