I can agree with that.

Within the realm of what's known, "suspected murderers" or "nazi supporters" is probably more verifiable.

Or "suspected murderers who are nazi supporters".

Yes. I don't really know where I'm going with this.

Terrible people. Just a slightly different brand of terrible people.

I normally wouldn't follow a story like this but we're leaving on a road trip through all the murders this weekend so I can't help but check for updates every few hours.

I feel better now that the story has changed from a rumored serial killer with up to 5 dead to a more reasonable 3 dead and two crazy teens on the loose moving east.

Pretty weird story all around. Aside from all their killings and what could have motivated that I'm pretty perplexed by their travel plan. It seems that being on the run is pretty dumb in general because you just delay the inevitable but I have to wonder what they were thinking driving straight east to the literal end of the road. That area is crazy, they're practically at Hudson Bay and their only options seem to be hop a train or go into bush that would be anyone's worst nightmare with the terrain, bugs, and lack of food and water. Did they hop a train to go back south to Winnipeg, or north to Churchill? Crazy. At this point I wonder if they ever get found, they could die in the bush and then get eaten by animals within days.

Saw an article this morning with a comment from one of their dads that with his son's second paycheque from his job at Wal-Mart, he purchased a nice suit. He didn't know what for at the time, but now he thinks it is his "funeral" suit. Also not sure if it was the same dad who said his son wanted to die in a hail of police gunfire.

If there is any truth to that, I think these guys are going to try and hold out as long as possible and attempt to get into a situation with law enforcement. They are probably very aware of what is going to happen to them eventually - capture or death. And my guess is they are leaning towards the latter.

I've been in Northern Manitoba this time of year.

A couple days of b-52 sized mosquitoes and sand flies and they will be begging for life in prison.

Nazi fans apparently.

https://globalnews.ca/news/5682031/r...-murders-nazi/

Police are investigating photos of two suspects in three B.C. deaths wearing army attire and holding Nazi paraphernalia, the RCMP have confirmed

Global News has obtained the photos. One of the photos depicts Bryer Schmegelsky wearing army attire while holding a rifle and a second shows him in a gas mask. The third photo depicts a swastika arm band and a knife with the inscription “Blut und Ehre” on the blade, which means blood and honour in German.

Sounds like the family had some serious issues, but as a father, can't imagine even having to think those sentences, let alone say them.
while i have sympathy for the parents, it is truly a sickening and cowardly way to go out...

I mean, i understand, to a degree, how desperate one must be to commit suicide, but to take out innocent people you've never even met for ####s and giggles? That is truly mind boggling...

don't understand it, hope i never become desensitized to a point where i do understand it.

The link has the photograph of Schmegelsky in his newly purchased black suit from four weeks ago. The article has some disturbing details of how he interacted with his peers in school.

The only thing I can think of is they didn't realize they were heading into a dead end and figured they would be able to find a road into Northern Ontario.

I was on google maps and I couldn’t even figure out how they managed to get to Gilliam without making a huge detour south. You’re right though — the highway up there pretty much leads to a dead end so I wonder if they got there, turned around, and then ditched the car.

I now understand what some posts meant and were doing. The posters were changing some of the lyrics.

Dum, dum, dum, (honey) hey kids what have you done?
(Her) Their dog days have just begun
Now everybody is on the run
What did (her daddy) their daddies do?
It's (Janie's) their last I.O.U.

Run away, run away from the pain yeah, yeah
yeah yeah yeah
Run away run away from the pain yeah yeah
yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Run away, run away, run, run away

I know some radio stations are not playing this Aerosmith song for now.

I'm too lazy to dig up the "What in the F" gif, but seriously, what in the F?

When did music that was written years ago become guilty by association with recent crime? And what do either of those songs have to do with this? Literally the only time in history that radio stations felt necessary to stop playing a song was after Katrina. New Orleans is Sinking got negative one plays after getting zero plays on New Orleans radio stations.

If in fact these boys are roughing it in the outdoors of northern Manitoba I have serious doubts they will be found alive or even found at all, people have been known to drown in a lake just trying to escape the bugs in places like this.
