Probably the case of Treliving will listen to/entertain all offers. I doubt Hamonic will be traded though.

On the flip side, it kinda makes sense too. Hamonic did have a down season and his value must be low.
The Rangers have seen him on a very regular basis though when he played for the Islanders and that might prop up his value. Rangers also have multiple 1st round picks.

Ideally you add (like they would if they deal Hamilton), but why treat an old trade like a hurdle when you can treat it like a sunk cost and make the best decision today?

Teams need to hire a guy and have him make the best decisions today, not look into the dark corners for his shadows.
