The only Lindholm I would move Hamilton for is Hampus. Elias Lindholm's career high is 45 points. Now adding a 40+pt forward with some upside is a good idea but I don't think it would take Dougie to do it.

Lindholm + Hanifin would be okay for a straight across, but we better not be including anything else. Hamilton is the best player in the (potential) trade.

I admittedly don’t follow Carolina, I thought Lindholm was supposed to be amazing and hanafin was a big deal young stud defenceman. No?

A blockbuster with Carolina makes a ton of sense though.
New ownership, new GM, new coach plus we just hired their old coach.
They have a lot of good young pieces too, hopefully BT can carve out a clear win if something happens.

Maybe the Flames can add a little more and get Skinner too.
Damn that'd be sweet.
And yeah, I've heard about the speculated Skinner/Peters relationship issues, but if they trade for him you know that was overblown. Plus the guy still produced great under Peters for three years.
Get all three locked up long term this summer, and the core is pretty much set once you get Chucky locked in next summer.

If it was Hamilton + for Lindholm +, I could certainly see the adders as Bennett and Hanifin and a pick. That'd be a really cool trade.

I see Lindholm's potential, but Hamilton is already playing like a star. No way I want to move Hamilton for a player with as many question marks as Lindholm. I just cannot see a situation where moving Hamilton makes us a better team.
Brodie for Lindholm, on the other hand, looks like a solid move. I'd finish my rosterbating with an Tavares signing, making us contenders....I think I'm going to mention Tavares a lot until he signs.
