Under Treliving's tenure, the Flames haven't commented on which RFAs will be getting QOs or not until after the deadline. If they are asked, they say they are still discussing.
The deadline for QOs is this Monday 3pm MT.

I would imagine they've decided, but whenever Brad is asked he says they want to inform the players they're not qualifying themselves - e.g., they don't want them to find out from Twitter or an article online.

Buffalo announced they won't resign Lehner. I assume that means no qualifying offer for him.

Nope. I could see any number of Hathaway, Poirier, Smith, Carroll, or Shinkaruk. Especially guys with arb rights.
Unrelated but I also expect Wotherspoon to be cut loose although he would be a good number 7 D on the Flames. In fact, I think it unlikely that any UFAs get re-signed unless its Versteeg at a bargain.

I get the feeling we're gonna have a lot of guys that don't get qualified

With the deadline coming up today:

personally I think they part ways with Shinkaruk, Carroll, Sith and Poirier. Can't see them let anyone else go.

It all makes so much sense now.
Seriously, I really hope Shinkaruk could figure it out and grab a spot and I had a lot of enthusiasm to see Poirier make it.

sadly, based on his production at the pro level, good old Hunter is more of a stormtrooper.

If I had to guess, Calgary lets go of Smith and Carroll for sure, possibly Poirier and Shinkaruk too

I know but honestly - and I know this isn't on Smith at all - but I'm still so freaking pissed that they wasted a second-round pick on a guy like him.

I don't think Calgary cuts ties with Shinkaruk just yet.

I think we see this as Shinkaruk's and Poirier's final chance to make the nhl with the flames. I would be surprised if we let both go, but could generally see one of them moving on.

No way they let go of Poirier. They've put a lot of effort in getting him back into things. He sticks around for at least one more year. I think Shinkaruk, Carroll, and possibly Smith are let go.

I think that they hold onto Poirier, eject Shinkaruk, Carroll and Smith, hold onto Klimchuk, Eject Hathaway into the sun, keep shore and the goalies.

May as well keep Poirier and Shinkaruk.
Worst case we need veterans on Stockton.

I'd be shocked if they let Hathaway go. He's an effective 4th line winger. Why would you want him let go?
Especially since they just traded Ferland.
