You can spread it before feeling symptoms. The symptoms seem to not necessarily be consistent among people. It's more of a circulatory illness than just a respiratory illness. Etc.

Not comparing it to the flu, just time line it kicks in

Just so you are all aware. I'm not dismissing the severity of the virus, or comparing it to the seasonal flu, or common cold. I was just saying that i was surprised that they all tested positive at that same moment and none of them had reported feeling sick. I am aware of the time line that it seems to take effect on the immune system.
With that said, I actually know a hand full of people that have tested positive, some with mild to no symptoms and my sister had it really bad. Not hospitalization levels, but bad.
So please don't cancel me.

The best angle to approach this pandemic is to not be surprised by anything.

I am pretty sure players are tested every day, or at least several times a week.

And now it's ok to talk about?
And let's not forget that it wasn't new in December.

I was going to say the same thing. I heard on the radio that more than half of the cases now are the more contagious variants that emerged more recently.
Cheeses help us if variants emerge that are not covered by the vaccine. If it become like the flu, where vaccinating comes down to predicting which variants will be dominant at any given time, then COVID is just going to be a fact of life from now on. How infectious a virus is can also increase how many mutations are out there. So while the new variants aren't necessarily more deadly, it's scary for other reasons.

I'm in Arizona, anyone can get vaccinated here and the mask mandate has been lifted more than a week ago. Crazy to me how all the players aren't vaccinated.

If they're in Canada, they likely have to wait for their turn. Only elderly, aboriginal and front line health care workers have had chance to get the vaccine so far, as far as I know...

My sister in Toronto got her first shot. She works with inmates in a prison, so essential, but not frontline, My sister in Vanvouver is a teacher's assistant and said her spot in the queue comes up in June (after the school year, which is funny, but at least she will get her second shot before September).
We are getting there, but not fast enough to slow down this 3rd wave. We aren't vaccinating ourselves out of it any time soon.

Crazy bad luck with injuries and health this year for the Canucks. If they were healthy there would be a playoff race in the North Division. Tough for Benning as he may pay for it with his job and his season was really blown up by injuries.

Is there any news/idea of when we will be getting the updated schedule based on this?

So terrible that they have the same amount of points as the Flames. Thought they would be way worse.
