I suspect he could switch over to Alpine eventually.
They were saying before FP2 that Aston was going to struggle with downforce. Apparently the low rake cars were affected the most with the changes to the floor.

Yessir, I'll do it. Although I think he's likely top 8...I put down some wager ideas as well.
1 - Williams scores more than 3 pts
2 - Perez finishes within 30pts of Verstappen...although I may regret that one after the terrible RBR call to leave him on mediums left him out of Q3
3 - Alpha Tauri finishes top 6 constructor...

Deadline for entries if you want some prizes is $10 and will keep that open until Race 4 weekend. So let me know.

I get that Red Bull is unapologetic in their strategy of that second Red Bull seat being a full on pressure packed audition. But seeing Gasly do so well after and seeing Albon do so well before then fizzle out under the pressure, do they eventually reevaluate and realize that maybe they're going about it wrong?

Yup they're going to struggle in the wind too. Plus Vettel getting screwed in qualifying by Mazespin.

I think they'll be fine, I figured they'd come out of the gates slow and build as the season goes on

I can't see it, that is how Red Bull operates in all their endevours. It's like a company mantra to keep people giving 110% because they are always on the chopping block.

How lucky are we to have Hamilton, Vettel, Alonso and Raikonen as world champions, up against guys like Verstappen, Ricciardo, Sainz, Perrez, LeClerc and Bottas? Gonna be a great season.

Ok, I’m in. Take my money.

Now I wish there was an easy way to watch this. I’m always annoyed when TSN throws the biggest motor sport in the world on their upper numbers.

Max had the win, great drive by Hamilton at the end.

Also nice to see Perez work up to P5 after starting from pit lane.

Yep - that was Verstappen’s win to take. Just couldn’t pull it off.

So stupid for him to give the place back right away. He should have gave it back on the straight and then get in his slipstream.

Yuki Tsunoda is going to be a fixture in the WC battle in the future. Dudes cool as a cucumber but aggressive at the right times. Massively impressed with his drive today.

Man F1 does a lot of foreshadowing. Oooo turn 4 mercs are using it to the advantage.... warns Hamilton....Verstappen passes Hamilton for the lead and has to give it back...
Hamilton:"I've been using the turn the whole race and they warn me now??"

Also Hamilton :" Not fair he passed me!"
Meh. Whatever, just funny how it unfolds.

Big Norris fan. I think he gets at least 1 win this year. Glad Ferrari are back in the mix too, adds some grit to the midfield.

Might be a good f1 season overall finally. RB look to have the horses to push the Mercs to their limits and break them once in a while. And they have a clear pit advantage.

Holy **** what a tragic outcome. I literally picked every top ten finisher correctly...in the wrong slots.

I feel your pain. Think I guessed 8/10 top 10 but only 4/10 in the correct slot. But if I flipped Verstappen and Hamilton, and Perez and Leclerc, I would've had the top 8 perfect. Le sigh

Side bets: @Jayswin...Stroll finishes 8th or worse, $20...@anyone, Perez finishes within 26pts (1 race win) of Verstappen.
Shoot, Flamesrule I didn't see that you had actually offered up this wager on page 2 of the thread. Then I offered Stroll finishing top 10, which you took.

I'd be good with splitting the difference and calling it "Stroll finishes 9th or better" and I win.
