Just caught this weeks NXT main event. Why are we watching what we’re watching on RAW when there are matches like that on, what is supposed to be, the developmental product.

That was the best match I’ve see in quite some time. Both of the guys should be main eventing on the PPV’s (or whatever you call those things now) That was the most entertained by pure wrestling that I’ve been in quite some time. Maybe it’s the setting, but the whole product was superior to what I’ve been watching on RAW lately.

John Laurinitis is back in as the head of talent relations, which means that Mark Carrano is out.

I thought that was ridiculous too but I saw someone explain it as the mic fed right into the headphones she's wearing so she didn't want to blow her eardrums out. Not sure if I buy that.

So was the guy in the explosives department then assigned to the sound department? Wait that could be a great angle. You get a guy and just have him be a blundering incompetant. He was in charge of the explosives, then moved to the sound department because iirc the sound went out at the end of dynamite, then moved to rigging and was in charge of the headphone mic thing. Everything he touches is just crap. Keep having things go wrong, and blame him.

Start having wrestlers beating him up for ruining their matches, then Tony loses it after the ring falls apart when he was put in charge of ring assembly, so Tony gets his mark moment and power bombs the guy through 36 tables.

Then this guy hires a body guard and we see the return of the Big Booty Daddy Scott Steiner who goes rage induced medieval on their a$$es.

Why hasn't anyone hired me as a booker yet?

Saw that yesterday as well, embarrassing. I flipped to NXT immediately. Can't wait to hear what Cornette has to say on the whole show! Yet some people (Omega?) like this....?

I didn't see the Maki Itoh bit, but she's not a great worker. Great personality for sure. She's in AEW by popular demand.

If there is one thing Tony Khan does well it's capitalize on Reddit fads

Setting up some great feuds on Dynamite too - Scorpio/Darby, Inner Circle vs. New Horsemen, and Cody/Penta. Plus Eddie Kingston and Moxley are a great tandem and fantastic on the mic. I also love Impact relationship and the upcoming NJPW partnership that will bring guys like Okada, Ibushi and Naito to the mix. Los Ingobernables de Japon is long overdue for a North America run.

NXT is great for wrestling action a feuds but there's too many bland personalities designed for social media blitzing. I'm convinced WWE makes them take social media marketing classes as much as wrestling school sessions at the Performance Center. The women's division is super talented but they all have shiny, colorful spunky attitude characters and it's somewhat yawn-inducing.

Andrade asking for a release.

If there is a WWE guy that AEW should target its him.

Triple H must be absolutely fuming.

La Sombra back on the independent scene would be amazing.

They won't grant it. They'll try and cater to him.

"69 me Don, save me!"

I have to admit, it was so unexpected I laughed harder than I have in a long time at something so stupid.

Especially with him and Charlotte still a thing I think.

Actually kind of surprising he’s not used more based on their relationship and keeping the two of them happy.

He was ear marked to be the new Del Rio not too long ago but I can't remember if that was before or after he got popped for PEDs

I thought it was after. The only consideration is that the whole lucha concept doesn't work in WWE, they tried it and it was a meh reaction. Andrade is talented, but he's 5'9 and he doesn't have good english skills, he lost something when he lost Zelina.

If I was AEW I would sign him and Vega and see if it still works, because I do like his work rate. But the AEW roster is too bloated right now and he could easily get lost in the lower mid card.

I still think that the biggest things holding back AEW are the writers and producers.

Baker/Thunder Rosa was one of the best women's matches I've ever seen. Brutal, engaging, and those women put it all on the line. Even Meltzer said it was one of the Top 3 women's matches in history.

Watch it if you can!

Eric Bishoff to the Hall of Fame. Strauman vs Shane pulled from Fastlane (Strauman is pretty much buried anyways)
