He also got 100 years in prison.

I'll take a good-faith stab at answering this...because the man was presenting a danger to the police/public and needed to be stopped. He was shooting at the police. If he's going to shoot at police over $50, there is likely more going on than appears to be.
We also don't know the density of the neighborhood he was in. Were houses packed side by side like sardine cans, or were they on a rural property with klicks between houses? Could the neighbors be safely evacuated or take shelter? If not, that affects the decision.
What kind of weapon is the bad guy using? Can it punch through walls easily, further endangering the neighborhood? Can it punch through armor, endangering the populace?
There are a lot of factors to consider.

I ####ing hate this ####. I’m sure there’s some situational legalese bull#### at play here, but...grabbing a knife and literally chasing after someone who is running away from you due to violence and stabbing them multiple time isn’t ####ing Manslaughter. It’s murder, and I don’t believe there is ANY circumstance where it shouldn’t be considered as such.
I really don’t know what kind of justice this is. It’s appalling.

Nobody cares about the victims of violence because the government looks at the perpetrators of violence as the real victims. This is the Canada most people want to live in however.

Well, when you do that it usually results in fewer victims of crime. But it's not as fun as being mad. I get it.

Recess isn't really long enough to start a game of anything though. And when I have been at schools during lunch, there are lots of kids playing soccer and stuff outside. Is this ban even true or is it some attempt to disturb people?

I know of 1 school that has banned some hard balls. It’s a K-3 school with a lame principal.

Popular porn producers charged with sex trafficking. Anyone who frequents the popular adult sites has no doubt seen these vids posted.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/busin...porn-fbi-says/
Quote:
The owners and two employees of GirlsDoPorn now face sex-trafficking charges in what federal investigators call a “scheme to deceive and coerce young women to appear in sex videos.” A criminal complaint filed last week in San Diego, where the company is based, alleges that some of the women were threatened with “legal action or outing” if they didn’t perform, barred from leaving shoots or even sexually assaulted. They were often paid far less than the $5,000 or so that was initially offered.
|
So yeah, if you’re gonna fap during NNN, maybe skip those videos. Disgusting.

Oh Florida. By the way - is that really a rule in Florida that people under 18 can't go to a concert if it's too late? Sounds like buyers remorse.
Quote:
Hollander said that back in August he had spent US$1,024 on three tickets to Madonna’s Dec. 17 show at the Fillmore Miami Beach, adding that two months after buying them, Live Nation announced that instead of beginning at 8:30 p.m., the show would kick off at 10:30 p.m.
In the legal document filed on Monday in Miama-Dade County — after admitting that he no longer wanted to attend the late concert — Hollander alleged that the time adjustment was a breach of contract between Madonna and all ticket buyers, as reported by CNN.

It would depend on the conditions of sale, terms of service and the like (which I'm assuming will protect the company) but I don't think this is worth leaving the planet for in any case. I mean, the Florida curfew for teens is probably the bigger "I don't want to live on this planet" story in my opinion.

The USA is just sinking deeper and deeper into crazy town.
"The Ohio House just passed the "Student Religious Liberties Act". Under the law students can't be penalized if their work is scientifically wrong as long as the reasoning is because of their religious beliefs".
