Mariners just throwing their season away. A's swept the Jays easily yet the M's are losing.

Jays just pouring it on!
I’d like to see Grichuk take over the everyday CF position for the Jays next season.

Growing up Jays were always and still are my #1 team. Mariners were #2, but now I love seeing the Mariners choke away a playoff spot. Mainly because of all the Mariners fans hating on us Jays fans from BC. Saying the M's are BC's team, etc. Saying we are all bandwagon jumpers and can't even name any players on the current roster. Well gotta suck that the M's are letting their playoff hopes slip away against the Jays and the Jays fans take over their stadium

Now with a 2.30 ERA. Should gave had his first win 3 or 4 starts ago.
He was a pretty highly touted prospect until he ran into some issues and injuries s few years ago. Hopefully we have a good one here

Estrada no-hit the Mariners through 6 and 1/3 innings. Pretty pretty pretty good. Ms still only have one hit

Nice to see a start like that from Estrada. Might get a couple more lottery tickets for him yet.

Some Jays content:
Blue Jays might win the Astros trade with Ken Giles alone
Quote:
Giles is also far from a slouch when it comes to being a closer, and has a pretty solid history of success in the role. Granted, he struggled badly enough this year that he was demoted to get things figured out, but this is a power arm that saved 34 games last year with a 2.30 ERA in 63 appearances. He also picked up 15 saves in each of the 2016 and 2015 seasons with the Astros pitching to a 1.80 ERA in 69 appearances as a 24 year old in 2015. He’s shown he can flourish when he’s executing his pitches.
Relievers are a volatile bunch, and nobody should be surprised if Giles is able to find his form again with his new club. There are definitely no issues with his arm, as he topped out at 98.3 MPH on Friday night in his Blue Jays’ debut, so it’ll be a matter of building trust in his stuff again, and with his new manager and teammates.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr went hitless in Buffalo’s first game but did get on base with a walk. VGJ was much better in game 2 as he went a perfect2-for-2 with 2 walks, a run, and an RBI. The 19-yr-old is batting .364 with a double, 2-RBI, 7-BB, and 2-K in 5 Triple-A games.
Bo Bichette played both ends of the doubleheader, leading off both games and manning shortstop. Bo went 2-for-4 with 2-R, a double, and an RBI in game 1. He went 1-for-4, with a run scored and a stolen base in game 2. Bo is batting .333 over his last 10 games and picked up his first SB in over 10 games. Overall, he is batting .278 with 78 runs scored, 34 doubles, 62 RBI, and 28 SB.

The Mariners are starting to be exposed for the fraud they are. At one point I think they were 21 games above 500 with a +13 run differential. Now they're at -22 and 15 games over. Come year end I bet they're close to .500

I really wish baseball was more like NBA where you could get excited about the high draft pick. It's such a crap shoot in baseball and usually takes so long for a good pick to pay off. Poor Jays.

Ugh. Bases loaded with nobody out, and can’t get a run after not scoring off of a lead off double last inning. This lineup is garbage.

Yeah, but Morales was the lead base runner. If it was anybody with any semblance of average speed or base running abilities they would have scored three different times.
1st, from 2nd base on the single.
2nd, on Pillar's fly ball to right.
3rd, on Maile's weak grounder up the 3rd base line.
Morales = Molasses

So Drury to the DL with a broken hand lol
Goddamn injuries, seriously what gives?
Sounds like Sanchez is nearing some rehab starts. I was starting to wonder if we'd ever see him again. That guy needs a finger/hand transplant or something. He's hardly pitched for 2 years now. What a joke.

And that's just one reason why Gibbons needs to get canned.
