No Hedman and no Brodin. But Tallinder made it. That's going to be a bit controversial.

Tallinder and Oduya over Hedman and Brodin will be controversial. I would have taken Brodin over Tallinder for sure, but I like having Oduya on the team.

Henrik Zetterberg is the captain. Henrik Sedin and Niklas Kronwall get As.

Well that's akward:
Craig Custance @CraigCustance
Asked Nicklas Lidstrom to break down Sweden's defense & he mentioned Brodin as a guy he was excited about. Brodin omission surprising.

Hörnqvist, Marcus Johansson, Brodin, and Hedman are probably the biggest/most surprising names outside the team.

Lidstrom should just play. He's probably still the best anyways.

That looks like a tough team to beat, especially if Lundqvist is on his game.

scary team. no Brodin is surprising, but I guess he couldn't crack that top4 with OEL, Karlsson, Kronwall & Hjalmarsson, and 5-6 spots aren't fit for him.

I think the team looks good. Edler is suspended first two games and Tallinder, Alfredsson and Jimmie Ericsson are not expected to not see much play if everyone stays healthy, but are good guys to have on the team.

Hedman yes. Backlund has difficulty staying in the Flames line up.

He's played 20 mins a night, hes averaging 16:56, certaintly not terrible, or even a fringe player

But not worthy of Team Sweden
