And again nurse calls the time out late. The Raps can’t play the same run and gun back and forth as golden state. He should be calling it earlier.

I'm not really astute when it comes to basketball, but what I do find interesting is usually no matter the score the people in these threads are gnashing their teeth about how the raps are playing. Even when they're up by several baskets.

Hitting some big shots to stop potential runs tonight.

Back up to 12. We are doing well, but I think we can find another gear defensively

Because we are playing a team that should have won the last 5 championship minus 1 HUGE Lebron block.

It's like being up by 2 in the third period in a hockey game but the other team is pressing hard. It's nerve-wracking. In this case they're hitting some shots though to keep pace - that Vanvleet high arc was an absolute thing of beauty.

The issue right now is that the only guy taking it to the basket is Kawhi. Siakam went in there tenatively and got blocked. They seem tentative after the Warriors drew all those charges in the 2nd. If their shooting dries up and the Warriors get to start playing in transition off the rim, this lead will be gone in a hurry.

So yeah, that's why there's teeth-gnashing going on.

Leonard is clearly hurt but powering through it. Really makes me wonder how bad he must have betrayed by San Antonio questioning his heart.

What a finish to the quarter. Suddenly they need to play more in the paint. Too many unnecessary threes.
