Oh yeah I don't besmirch parents who go along with it, to an extent. But when we get to the point of saying "Don't say the expensive presents are from Santa because then Timmy will think Santa doesn't love him as much!" it's crossing a bit in to the absurd. Like if your kid is at the point of knowing what other kids get and acknowledging the monetary value of it, it's time to give up the game and just tell them that Timmy's parents are poor but doing their best, and Santa isn't a real thing.

I'm noticing a few stores have started doing "early black Friday" sales, where the price you see now is the price on black friday. I assume because people will hold off on buying big ticket items until black Friday so stores want to even out their sales over the weeks leading up to black Friday

With the way things are now, sales just run constantly from now until the second week of January. First it's early Black Friday sales, then actually Black Friday (which goes all week), then Cyber Monday, then Black Friday EXTENDED sales, then early Boxing Day sales, then actual Boxing Day/Week Sales, then Boxing Week extended another week sales.
The result of stores having to do a month and a half straight of sales is that there's actually very few really good deals out there.

You should go visit Justin at Gem By Carati. Since he's a CP'er, and has a forum here....

Boston Pizza has a Xmas pizza with turkey, cranberry and gravy. Could be the best or the worst thing ever?

Omg I saw this! How gross. As my son said about this, just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should!

Should mention that the building Krickets was in on 4th was renovated and the store has moved to Marda Loop, in the same block as the TD (across from Starbucks)... it’s a neat store with some fun little gifts.

Little pricey but very sentimental and you also get a discount if you buy multiple books

Thank you for this suggestion, I ordered one of these for each of my grandkids on the weekend. Great idea!
