Flames @ Rags 5 P.M. MT
Flames (4-3-0) @ Rangers (2-4-1)
Coming off a loss to the top team in the NHL, Flames face-off against the bottom of the Metro division in an early game tonight.
Rangers come off an OT loss to the capitals and have struggled to score goals this season. However Lundqvist has been looking great so far posting a .930 SV% through 6 outings. Flames are also 0-6 in last six visits to MSG.
GFG!

Big game tonight. Move on from a tough loss by coming out hard tonight and taking it to a team that should be beat. Let's get this road trip started the right way.

We gotta win. This team needs a full effort from everybody and get these points we need early.
Peters hopefully gets them playing stifling-defence.
Get the win fellas.

Rangers are a little more punchy. Czarnik will be in against Montreal, where his speed will play better, I bet.

I too see this as a must win game. Two points in rocktober are just as valuable as two points in March.

I think the Flames come out strong and take it 4-1. I also consider this a must-win, as someone else mentioned contending teams bank these 2 points and move on, and with how tight the Pacific is likley to be, cannot be giving away points to bottom teams whether it's in October or March.

Thanks for the stats Bingo. Lindholm the worst Flame for high danger scoring chances against per 60, even worse than Monahan and Gaudreau is surprising.
