Seems like Nylander was a Flame much longer than he actually was.

With over a century of history, the Habs have more than their share of glory. And much has been made of the team's famous ghosts. Well, you know who you gotta call in this situation:
Go Flames

Hey puppet guy, I have a question for you.
Every single season your puppet productions seem to outdo the previous year in grandiose fashion. They're as much as highlight to the GDT as Gaskal's ATL report to PGTs.
My question is, how on earth do you outdo what you have already done?? Are you in talks with Netflix to produce an original series or something? Keep em coming, man!

Good god. Who remembers what a complete disaster Karlsson was? I'm shocked that he was 26th in career saves for the Flames.

I look forward to getting destroyed by the Habs tonight, and then during our train ride to Ottawa Gully is gonna get some coldies and start handing them out and be all like "so guys, lets talk, whats goin on?" Then the boys are gonna rally behind the cold ones and fall short of the playoffs.

It's interesting Czarnik is sitting for a second straight game. Is he nursing a minor injury or just flat out healthy scratch?

He's already missed two. This will be his third straight game as a scratch.

Last game he was a healthy scratch. And then Hathaway had two goals so you can't exactly sit him out the next game.

Yeah, seems like he was here for 4-5 years, though not full seasons, and there was a strike in there. So calendar wise he was here for a while, but only played about 2 full seasons worth of games here. My memory of him does seem more significant too in terms of points contribution though.
His biggest contribution may have been fathering William and Alex here.

They actually ended up making the playoffs after their rally that season, but then got swept lol. The stick tirade rally fell shot last season though.
I'm worried about this one, team was bad against the rangers, can't expect to win again with that sort of effort. Habs are fast and are playing with that "we don't giva eff" chip right now. They know everyone thinks they're trash so they are playing loose and looks like they're just having fun out there. Ceci n'est pas une easy effin game, so flames better be sharp tonight.

They're gonna win, because the Habs are due for a regulation loss.

Still dont get the Ryan hate. Hes a solid 3rd/4th line centre and neither Dube nor Jankowski has massively outperformed him at centre so far. Why take issue with him?

Ryan's fine. Nothing really happens when he's on the ice odd for the occasional nice pass. His play to set up Bennett's goal the other night was a thing of beauty. At least he hasn't been detrimental to the team during his adjustment.

Well he is awfully expensive for what he's doing.
I think the biggest thing people are disappointed about with Ryan is that he hasn't added anything to the PP and has still played considerable minutes with the man advantage.
for me its still a wariness after GG overplaying terrible players in the wrong roles, and probably is much ado about nothing hopefully
