Pretty good speed boogieing out from behind the net there. I don’t even know who he is.

To be fair I cannot remember ever seeing an instance where a puck goes off the post and backwards behind the icing line like that for an icing call.

It’s icing for the same reason it’s not a shot on goal.

the post is not different than the side of the net - once it crosses the goal line, it's icing

Yeah I know, it makes perfect sense that it's icing, I've just never seen it as far as I can remember.

So... shootout? EDIT: I guess not.

He’s got size, at 6’2”, and he’s had a few AHL seasons with some not bad numbers. Fairly good college career by the looks of it, too.

Yeah, that was not brilliant commentary there.

"Not sure why that obvious thing is so obvious..."

Zero chance. There's a 23 man roster limit including goalies.

I liked Mackey and Kylington on defence while Dube and Mangiapane looked very dangerous in the last minute. Vladar looks calm, athletic, and huge.

Hell, maybe Kylington actually does what no young Flames d-man put on the fringe after their rookie debut has seemingly been able to do ... force the Flames hand and make themselves a regular top 6.
