I actually remember being a fan of his play for the Kings a few years ago.

Hopefully it was all rust, cause he was dragging his line down.
I liked Ritchie's jam down the stretch so I'm willing to give him a pass this early but the guy needs to play much better.

I can't believe we also have the likes of Lewis and Richardson. Ugh, such redundant replacement-level signings.

No Gudbranson, so that alone should help.

Also with Mangiapane on the ice maybe we can score a goal this time.

Darryl Sutter on utilizing Dillon Dube at centre this evening.

So, no Poolman vs. Poolman?

I have both in my pool.

paraphrasing Sutter - 2 or 3 prospects ahead of Luke Philp didn't play very well yesterday; today may be their last chance

I like that they’re trying Dube at centre, Sutter hinted at that possibility after Friday’s session. Said that Dube was a natural centre coming out of junior and has been used on both wings, but had yet to establish his position in the NHL. If he looks really good as a centre, maybe he can be used as a 3C while Eichel is healing

Re: Zadorov, I thought his puck movement was fine last night. Gudbranson was horrible as expected, but I’m glad this was in a preseason game. He either plays himself out of a spot or gets his crap together. Biggest concern to me was that none of the prospects stood out, hopefully that changes tonight.

Hell, one pre-season game? People here were writing him off even before they knew who he was

Probably one of the clearest memories I have of that series is saying "just stay the hell away from that guy" to our guys about Zadorov. He was punishing us.

Zadorov started the momentum swing for the Avs in Game 2 against the Flames in 2019. Crushed Tkachuk, the Flames wilted and MacKinnon turned it up.

Hope he gives the Flames similar advantages, or at least opens doors for them.
