NHL's COVID-19 protocols for players

Well some rightly pointed out at the time that it made no logical sense to decline going into a covid safety bubble in order to protect his kid from covid.

Then it became even weaker of an excuse when he was pounding the pavement hard for a job the next year in the middle of the second wave when there was no safety bubble.

Now he is refusing the scientific safety bubble to protect him and his immunocompromised kid and wants to go to covid mecca? Jeepers man. What a phoney bologna.

I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he was protecting his kid, but wasn’t that educated about it. Mainly because he always seemed like a standup guy on the team. But he’s lost my respect.

He bailed on the bubble playoffs but deemed it safe enough to play and travel the next year when he was getting paid should have been all we needed to see.

The rumored/speculated Devils player is Mackenzie Blackwood. Has some questionable folks he follows on Instagram and does share an agent with Bertuzzi and Rinaldo as well.

Does make sense, since one of the articles I read was talking about this impacting the unnamed player’s possible Olympic selection as well.

Flames make one of the worst trades in franchise history to aquire him.
He bails on the Flames and uses his kid as an excuse even though he'd be no where near his kid in a bubble.

Next season with no bubble and no vaccination he signs a new contract.

Decides not to get the vaccine and contemplates retiring.

It just seems like all of the Hamonic stuff is speculation... There's been no official word about anything, just tweets from rumour mills. The team won't even confirm his absence has anything to do with COVID at all. How do you know what to believe?

I’d be really interested to hear what these health concerns are since he declined to comment on specifics. A quick look at his instagram shows he is following all of the popular far right propaganda accounts. Charlie Kirk, The Typical Liberal, Rebel News, Tucker Carlson, Benny Johnson, Rogan O’Handley, Donald Trump, etc.
