That episode had so much good stuff in it.
The Thanos had a point stuff was hilarious. That just nailed what a what if should be.

I think that's all but guaranteed, you don't bring in a guy like Wright just for voice acting. Plus the Watcher is one of the most important cosmic characters in the Marvel universe, he's bound to show up sooner or later

Ravager Thanos was great. Who knew he just needed a friend? The ending with Nebula as the embarrassed daughter was hilarious. I also liked all the shade indirectly thrown at Quill.

You pretty much took the words out of my mouth.
I did notice that the Collector had the Cap's shield and Mjolnir, along with Hela's crown and that the crown was the source of her swords, so multiple big changes in that universe just from that one little scene.

figure that they will use his face on a watcher head? Cause it's not the Watcher Uatu without that giant dome.

Didn't like the first episode, loved the second. A good "What if?" has always been to put familiar characters into scenarios they could never be in the regular universe, a bad "What if?" will just do a few character/power swaps and then retell a familiar story.

Captain Carter was a really good intro to What If, a significant enough change to warrant a new universe, but still along a familiar story so that casual fans aren't completely lost. If they had started with T'Challa Star Lord it would have been a little too confusing for some I think

Yeah the first episode was a very gentle primer into What Ifs.

The old What If? Comics were so dark and disturbing. Interesting to see them take a lighter route here.

Sounds like we get a story around Black Widow and Nick Fury next.

The titles of the first three episodes were released just before the season began and the next is titled "Loki on Earth". The rest has leaked as well so kind of spoilery but most of them we knew from the trailers I think.

The glory years of the "What if?" series was when every other comic was "What if the Punisher killed X?" I want to see the Punisher stuff a fake Electro with C4 and blow spiderman up, but I know it's too much to hope for.

Episode 3 is dark.
I enjoyed how it was a murder mystery that also gave the audience a nexus event mystery.

That was basically how everyone was saying Antman was going to take out Thanos in the movies.
