Gaudreau is so good, he could achieve even this.

Would be awesome to see him go PPG this season.

I wanna see a Gordie Howe hat trick.. vs Nathan Gerbe..

Well not much to be positive about these days around here except for Johnny and Bennett.. Johnny had a great night in NJ and could have been rewarded with even more. Still on a PPG pace. He's 7th in NHL Scoring and only 3 pts back of 4th with 2 and 3 games in hand on the players above him.

He's on pace for 35G, 48A = 83Pts

Would LOVE to see 50 assists.

If Gaudreau ever gets a true sniper to work with, I think he has a legit shot at 70+ assists. Kid is that good.

I think Johnny finishes right around PPG.

I think if the Flames become a contending team during Johnny's prime, he can reach 100.

Ah, a postmodernist hockey fan.

Gaudreau can achieve higher only if he's got a supporting cast. They're almost non-existent at the moment.

Christ what does Monahan have to do to be considered "existent" in your books? (Or many CPers books?)

A lot more when he is on the ice with Johnny.

Not only is Monahan not a first liner in the NHL, he's non-existent when he plays.

What is next on CP? Gio's contract is an anchor? Oh, wait....

I'm pretty sure he hits 100 next season, regardless.

Or at least 90+.

Johnny with his 20th! He is on pace for 36 goals, 86 points.

Be less boring.

Back to Johnny though, I say he finishes with 83 points. 38 goals.

Johnny Gaudreau has figured it out. And I don't mean that like, "he's figured out his game, he's playing to his strengths," I mean he has literally solved the game of hockey. Like a math equation.

It's ridiculous.

Consistent production is the hardest thing to do in this league. There's only 5 or 6 PPG or better players on average each season for good reason. Johnny has got to be one of the most consistent young players I've ever seen. Outside of his 5 game cold streak after his hot december, he's basically been steady going back to his second month in the league.

He's actually on pace for 36-47, not 36-50, but I sure am hoping for 50 as well.

Here's a crazy thing, Johnny is 17 points ahead of the next Flame in scoring. That's insanity.

The prognosis for Johnny before he was a full-time Flames could be summarized that he was either going to be a star, or a bust.

I'm glad he chose the 'star' route.

I didn't see it that way. I figured he would always make a good enforcer for Monahan If nothing else.

good news from the nashville game is that in the last part of the game the top line was put together and looked dangerous. If they can get going johnny will hit 90 no problem.
