Many of Bossy's assists were probably from his shots that rebounded to his teammates. But anyway you look at it, very impressive.

I hope one of two things happen.
1. We lock him up long term.
2. He finds some super hot girl who blows his mind, He marries her and she refuses to leave Calgary due to all her family etc being here and he signs long term.

He shows chemistry with whoever he plays with, and I have a really good feeling about the Gaudreau - Bennett combo.

I agree with the bolded. They have shown glimpses of tremendous speed, hockey IQ, and chemistry.
I know this season has been very hard to watch, but we have some really special building blocks with Johnny, Bennett, Monahan, Brodie, and Hamilton (He'll turn it around.)

But what bonafide starting goalie could he net us in trade!?!
Kidding aside..
I mentioned in another thread keeping g him with Bennett to get him going and also allowing Monahan to get back to having to do it himself on his line.
Money did it in his rookie year and his entire junior career. I think Huds and Money became a bit too dependant on Johnny to dish them the puck in prime spots.

In other news, the Oilers lead the league in the "visually improved" and "seven passes in a row", as well the the advanced stat "suck for two decades" categories.

Johnny Gaudreau is a magical hockey elf.
He's a one-of-a-kind player.
You know how managers draft useless plugs who are 6' 10" and justify it by saying "he could be the next Chara"?
I guarantee you that soon we'll see a team draft a 4' 11" finesse player in the 1st or 2nd round, and say "He could be the next Johnny Gaudreau".

I never would have remembered it but he was on prime-time recently and they talked about that season and mentioned the amount of assists. great season capped off where he also won the Conn Smythe after sweeping the nucks.

Chances are better that a normal sized female gets drafted before a sub 5' male.

Though he isn't 4'11", Flames might have already drafted another skilled, little guy in Mangiapane.

If only the refs would call a damn slashing penalty, he's getting it every game now.

Wasn't Johnny, Bennett and Jooris was featured in last year`s preseason? I like they throw in a potential finisher like Frolik in the mix.

The first part of your post is ridiculous. The second half I agree with.

Honestly, I think Johnny is so good he has chemistry with anybody he plays with. Hell, I could play with Johnny and he'd be able to set me up for goals (probably bouncing pucks off my ass and into the net).

So...as good a goal-scorer as Cam Talbot?

Once we trade for Stamkos Johnny will set a new flames record for assists.

Ridiculous that I would feel some disappointment if Gaudreau were to fall well back of playing at a point/game pace through the remaining 70 games? I don't see how, especially since he has been playing at that level for the entire year.

In Game of Thrones the name John Hockey would be for a #######-born lad of the Canadian Kingdom.
